Redefining the Educational Landscape in Georgia

Educational Disobedience ™ is more than just a book; it’s a movement our author, Dr. Annise Mabry, started from her groundbreaking work that reached Amazon’s bestseller lists. This initiative has grown into a vibrant community of parents and educators committed to redefining the educational landscape. Through workshops in Georgia, we provide parents with the knowledge and tools to embrace academic freedom and take charge of their children's futures.

A Graduate’s Perspective

"My narrative isn’t meant for comfort; it’s a call to action. It’s a plea for acknowledgement that existing programs are failing students like me. It’s a plea for elected officials and community leaders to not only acknowledge the life altering impact that Tiers Free Academy Homeschool Cooperative is making in the community but also supporting this program financially.

Thanks to Tiers Free, I’ve found academic success and the audacity to envision a life beyond my circumstances. Post-graduation, I aspire to find meaningful employment as an entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur intrigues me because it gives me back the one thing that I never had my entire life–control over what happens to me. Doubts linger, but they will not deter me. I’ve made a vow to transcend my challenges, to honor the journey, and to emerge victorious.”

A Parent’s Perspective

"In the past I had tried local programs. For instance, there was one which cost us $75 a week. The only thing that my child got from there was unhealthy relationships with other unmotivated students who were as lost as she was. The other program seemed to be in place for the money more than the education and that ultimately failed my child too.
When we finally decided to enroll with Dr. Mabry’s program, we noticed differences right away. The biggest difference was that we had a lot of flexibility with the curriculum and it wasn’t a ‘one size fits all’ approach."

A Retired Police Chief’s Perspective

"I got to watch how this diploma program, in one graduation cycle, changed how my officers interacted with the community. Few programs address the root cause of a problem; but, this program is one of them. It helps individuals get a high school diploma and there is a lot of truth in the statement that it’s much easier to police in a community where residents have hope and opportunity."
